Beginner's Guide to VOCF
If you never attended the VOCF but you're reading this short guide you're on the right path. Valle Orco Climbing Festival is more than a simple climbing event. It's a real party where you can have so much fun, meet old friend or make new ones, wandering around the beautiful Valle Orco with a crash pad on your back or your friends attached to your harness, looking for the perfect crack or the sending project. Or simply the company of drinking buddies to share 4 amazing days.

HOW TO ATTEND
It's so easy to attend!
Let's start by saying that everything that happens at VOCF is completely free, because that's how we like it and we want it to be accessible for everyone. You won't have to pay a ticket to attend the workshops (and what a workshops!), the only contribution we ask for, is voluntary, the purchase of the race pack, which contains the amazing T-shirt of the event and few super nice gadgets from our sponsors. By this you'll support us in the organization and allow us to keep organizing this amazing event. To be able to participate to the prize competition the race pack it's mandatory, this is the only way.
EVENTS AT THE FESTIVAL

Each year we work to organize many cross events, to be able to entertain you during your stay in the valley. Screenings, athletes meetings, workshops, prize competitions, yoga and more sport activities, eco-trekking and much much more. We'll publish all the activities in the dedicated section, keeping it up to date with all the news.
ACCOMODATIONS
Where to lay your tired bones
Valle Orco is a magical place, to keep it like that we ask you to avoid wild camping. Inside the festival area, few minutes away from Le Fonti Minerali, you'll find a big space dedicated to tents, vans, motorhomes and cars with amenities (bathrooms and sinks). You can stay there as long as you want, you'll just need to pay 5€ once for the duration of the event. We'll need it to keep the ares clean and tidy. The festival camping area is definitely the best place to meet new friends, but if you prefer a quiter and comfier stay you'll find all the other possibilities in the dedicated page.
