Barbara Zangerl and Eva Hammelmüller, top athletes from the Vibram team, are two of the most talented climbers on the international scene, each boasting an impressive record of ascents on some of the world’s most challenging walls. Barbara Zangerl is renowned as one of the few women in the world to have completed the “Nose” on El Capitan in free climb, while Eva Hammelmüller, a young rising star in sport climbing and bouldering, stands out for her talent and determination, which have led her to climb some of the toughest routes in Europe.

Together, Barbara and Eva will guide you through the essential techniques and secrets to tackle a big wall without fear. During the workshop, you’ll learn how to use Jumar ascenders, a fundamental tool for ascending fixed ropes, how to efficiently haul gear to reduce effort and time during long climbs, and how to set up a porta-ledge, the suspended “bed” that allows you to rest during multi-day climbs.

But that’s not all: Barbara and Eva will also share practical tips on how to organize gear, manage limited space on the wall, and maintain calm and focus during the physical and mental challenges that a big wall can present. This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn from the best and prepare yourself to face big walls with confidence and skill.

Please note that to participate in the workshops, you must be registered for the event and possess a FASI membership card, which can also be obtained on-site. This card is mandatory to ensure insurance coverage and participation in the proposed activities. Don’t miss the chance to learn from the best in a stimulating environment filled with fellow enthusiasts!
